Artwork Specification Sheet

File Delivery

You may email your files. We only accept emailed files in PC format. Please ensure that your company name and, if possible, our order number is under the subject heading.
Please send artwork to wendy.carrington@smilepublishing.com

You may post your artwork on disc along with a hard copy.

We can accept floppy discs and CDs, in PC format.

Please note if you require your media to be returned to you, please be so kind as to inform us in writing. Our normal practice is not to return your discs.

Software

We are only able to accept files created in Quark Xpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Publisher. Please note that Pagemaker is not an acceptable format. If you cannot supply your artwork in an acceptable format, we will create your advertisement for you providing you supply us with a hard copy, logos, pictures etc. A proof will be sent to you for final approval. If you do not have your artwork on email or disc, please supply your logo, text and contact details via post and we will create your artwork. You can send a business card, leaflet or brochure and we can work from these as well.

Size and File Extensions

All scans should be provided at 300dpi and supplied in CMYK format, rather than RGB.

File extensions that are acceptable are .pdf .jpeg .tif .eps and .psd

Please note that only minimal changes can normally be made to .pdf or .tif files at our end.
